The handling time that helps shoppers figure out when their item will be shipped is being reported as being wrong by some sellers. They are saying that eBay is going off of the average time it took for the items to be shipped instead of the time the seller puts on. Sellers are saying that means eBay is over promising the delivery date which sellers can’t adhere to.
“I chose 3 days handling time for a reason, and I want my buyers to receive estimated delivery dates that reflect that. Anything else is just setting me up for disappointed buyers and low DSR ship time ratings,” an eBay seller explained to EcommerceBytes.
Seems like a lot of times sellers are getting complaints of not shipping their item fast enough, when in reality it’s not the time they posted.
Any of you finding this a problem?
